Search box entries
A name or place entered in the search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Texas Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own server. The provider’s separate privacy terms control its handling of the query after it leaves this site.
Contact messages
If you send a message through a contact channel, the details you include are kept so the recipient can answer or review the issue. They are not shared outside the organization unless needed to respond or a valid legal process requires disclosure. Avoid sending sensitive identity records unless the receiving custodian asks for them through an official process.
Technical Data and Cookies
When a page loads, hosting, analytics, or security tools may record basic technical details about the visit, such as:
- Internet address and general connection data
- Browser type, version, device, and operating system
- Pages opened and the time spent on each
- The referring page, when one is provided
- Visit dates and timestamps

Texas pages link to county jail records, sheriff and police offices, courts, TDCJ, archives, federal locators, and other search tools. Texas public-record requests to state and local bodies are governed by the Texas Public Information Act, but this site does not control the government record systems it links to.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across sites or select ads. That tracking is handled by those providers, not by the Texas record pages themselves.

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor sent information, ask for its deletion through a verified site contact channel and include enough detail to find the message without sending more sensitive data.
